How are you making them?
I use Westsoy traditional seitan! I like using hickory BBQ sauce, or any, doesn’t matter. FOR THE HOT SAUCE. I used what we had at home, I’m not too picky on hot sauce, so you can use whatever. All preference, really.
Dice an onion, 2 tbs of salt, 2tbs pepper, 2tbs garlic salt, 1 tbs paprika, 2tbs light brown sugar.
Chop the seitain in small pieces, cover the seitain in all the spices, then just throw the onions/bbq sauce/hot sauce seitain in a sauce pan.
Let it simmer for 30 minutes on a LOW covered flame. stir it here and there a few times, so it doesn’t burn.
Use whatever you’d like for the buns!
